Generating a Million Ideas for Peace

Everyone I speak with these days is looking for ways to make their lives and work more meaningful. Friends and colleagues privileged to hail from the abundance of the developed world tell me they want to contribute to the making of a more peaceful and sustainable world for future generations... They are often overwhelmed by the pace of the change and the complexity of our global problems we all face.

Terrorism, dictators, hunger, disease, global warming, war, poverty.
What can we do? Where to begin?

On the weekend of April 12, 2007, NorthShoreGroup and friends will host a one-day sympoisum to help us all explore that very question and we are fortunate to have with us special guest, Riane Eisler.

Riane is regarded as one of the most original thinkers of our time, Riane Eisler continues to bring fresh solutions to our personal and social problems in her new book, The Real Wealth of Nations.

Best known for her international bestseller The Chalice and The Blade, which has changed the lives of women and men worldwide, she begins with our day-to-day behaviors and values and then moves to the changes needed in the policies and practices of governments and business leaders.
